The clearance of Langley Road is well underway. The rooms at the rear of the property currently look like this:



Just the kitchen to clear and the Tots & Carers toys to be moved. The horsebox has had a lot of junk thrown out and been made ready for the photocopiers, the fridge and the oven:



There is a pile sat at the front of the worship area read to go to the tip:



A pile ready to come back the office at the manse (at last a decent heater for me!!):



And finally a pile of stuff that is too good to throw out but no longer needed by the church, if you can give anything a good home then let me know or take away with you on Sunday. Delivery can be arranged for a small donation to the building fund!



There is a coffee table, small cabinet, lots of tapes, a desk, lecturn and reading stand. Add to that the items from the upstairs meeting room and we have a retro sofa bed and a Panasonic widescreen TV with stand.

Finally a photo of the land at the rear of the building that currently stands empty, but will, within weeks have our new extension upon it:

The builders arrive at Langley Road on Monday morning to begin work on the extension at our Langley Road site.

The work will take until Easter 2012. The kitchen, disabled toilet, office and upstairs meeting room at the rear will be demolished. The demolition will make way for our new extension that will be twice the length of what we currently have and include a new kitchen, storage room, small office, 3 meetings rooms and a disabled toilet.
